Another unique and exclusive way to discover the world’s famous Torres del Paine National Park in depth; staying at one of the most modern and comfortable Hotels in the Park! Our well-trained tour guides will make this journey a very individual and highly personalized experience. Overnights inside Torres del Paine National Park will be at the Lago Grey Lodge, an ideal place in the heart of the National Park situated in the lush, green western region of the Park. Lake Grey Lodge has 30 comfortably arranged rooms with heating, telephone and private bathrooms. Rooms are with views of the lake and mountain peaks are connected to the main lodge by an above ground boardwalk. There is also a brilliant restaurant and bar for guest’s convenience from where one witnesses the view of the Paine Mountains and Lake Grey in the foreground of Grey Glacier, the biggest in the Torres del Paine National Park.

Day 1: Punta Arenas
After the arrival in Punta Arenas Airport, transfer to your hotel in Punta Arenas, after check in we will take you to discover the great magic of one of the most southerly cities of the World, you will enjoy the fantastic view of the Strait of Magellan and visit the historic and cultural highlights of Punta Arenas during an extensive city tour. Cocktail drink and dinner will take place in one of the best local restaurants, which enhances the flavors and colors of the Patagonian Cuisine. Overnight at Hotel Cabo de Hornos overlooking the historical square. (D)

Day 2: Punta Arenas – Puerto Natales – Lago Grey Lodge
After breakfast we will start our trip towards the Torres del Paine, on the way we make several stops to experience the Patagonian wild live and culture. Our first stop is at the Otway Penguin Colony, during our hike of approximately an hour we will enjoy the unusual habits of the Magellan penguins that breed on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Our next stop is Puerto Natales, where we learn about the local culture and handicrafts. Before we move on we will enjoy a typical Patagonian meal in a select restaurant in Natales.

We continue through the extensive steppes and may spot typical animals like the rheas, foxes and guanacos as well as a great variety of birds. In the afternoon we arrive at the Lago Grey Lodge, located in the western area of the Torres del Paine National Park next to Lake Grey, where the unexplored Southern Patagonian ice cap begins. After checking in there will be time to relax or to explore the scenic surroundings of the lodge. Afterwards a splendid cocktail and dinner is offered while enjoying wonderful views of Lago Grey and the glacier of the same name. Overnight at the lodge. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Torres del Paine National Park
After breakfast we set out to explore the wonder of the magnificent Torres del Paine National Park. Throughout the National Park we enjoy the rich beauty of the natural surroundings, flora and fauna. We visit the main highlights like Lake Nordenskjöld and Pehoé, and the falls at Salto Grande. After crossing the park from east to west we return to the lodge for a short break and nice lunch while enjoying beautiful views towards the famous Grey Glacier. After lunch we embark a boat and sail all the way up to the glacier‘s front wall, which is divided in two by a central island where landing is allowed. In the late afternoon we return to the nearby lodge to enjoy our dinner. Overnight at the Lodge. (B, L, D)

Day 4: Torres del Paine National Park and Life on an Estancia
After breakfast we will head to the eastern side of the National Park. After a short drive we will explore the surrounding area of Laguna Amarga and the cascades of Rio Paine, and enjoy an easy hike at Laguna Azul, where one frequently observes Guanacos herding in larger groups. After our hike we leave the National Park behind to drive to one of the last historical Patagonian “Estancias” or sheep farms characteristic for this region, Cerro Guido. Before we learn about the estancia we will have an exquisite lunch at the “Quincho”, overlooking the towering peaks of Torres del Paine. In the afternoon we choose from one of several local activities that this estancia offers, such as a nice horseback-riding up the hills, a bird-watching hike, or participate in one of the farm activities at the estancia. In the late afternoon we return to Lake Grey where we will enjoy a farewell cocktail and dinner at the Lodge. Overnight. (B, L, D)

Day 5: Lago Grey Lodge – Punta Arenas
After breakfast we prepare for our departure and will drive to the airport of Punta Arenas. (B, BL)
