Friday: Balmaceda -
Puerto Chacabuco
Reception at Balmaceda Airport
and transfer to Hotel Loberías
del Sur in Puerto Chacabuco.
Welcome dinner and overnight
in the hotel. To arrive at the hotel
you will drive on the Austral
Road, passing the beautiful town
of Coyhaique. You will have the
opportunity to see a tiny part of
this amazing landscape that is
part of these latitudes, as we will
cross the Andes mountain range
through Chilean Patagonia.
Arrival at Hotel Loberias del Sur
and the beautiful bay of Puerto
Chacabuco. You will stay two
nights in the hotel. At nightfall a
Welcome Dinner will be offered
in the hotel, including appetizers,
main course, dessert and
coffee. (D)
Saturday:
San Rafael Glacier
After breakfast you will take
part in an unforgettable trip on
board of a catamaran that will
take you along islands, channels,
and fiords to unimaginable
scenery! The marvelous Laguna
San Rafael. The main tour attraction
is this peaceful lagoon with
a surface of 170 square kilometers
/ 65 square miles and the
glacier San Rafael. On board of
a zodiac you will get in close to
the San Rafael Glacier and a
number of floes that move
around.
At the end of the excursion you
will receive a whisky on the
rocks with ice cubes that are
more than 20,000 years old.
You will stay there for 2 - 3 hours
and then return to Puerto Chacabuco,
at about 9:00 p.m.
Back in the hotel, you can relax
after a long day full of magic
and unforgettable impressions.

Sunday: Private Park
"Aikén del Sur" -
Balmaceda Airport
After breakfast a bus will take
you from the Hotel Loberias del
Sur to the recently opened Aiken
del Sur Private Park through a
landscape of unique beauty in
Patagonia. You will go on a
excursion that includes close
contact with Patagonian virgin
nature and a tasty Patagonianstyle
barbecue. Transfer to the
airport of Balmaceda to board
your connecting flight. (B,L)
