Day 1 La Paz - Puno
Transportation from La Paz or Puno to Copacabana (3 hours), boat to Island of the Sun (1 hour), land near Pilkokaina ruins and have a typical aptapi. Then hike one hour to ecolodge La Estancia. (Lunch/Dinner)
Day 2 Sun Island
DON’T MISS AN EARLY SUNRISE! Boat north to the Chincana ruins (1 hour), short hike to the Challapampa, then boat to Challa, visit a cultural museum. Hike uphill to the ecolodge. Afternoon free to enjoy the peace and beauty of the area. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
Day 3 Island of the Moon - La Paz / Puno
Hike through Yumani in the Garden of the Incas, boat to Island of the Moon, visit its ruins, then to Copacabana, visit the famous Dark Virgin and its church, lunch and a stroll of town. Transportation to La Paz or Puno (3 hours). (Breakfast/Lunch).
